Add to the list.

1. It always sounds good. No matter how off the band is on a particular night, this song will always be decent, on a great night it can be amazing.

2. It evolves. It never sounds the same 2 tours in a row. The tags in '92, the chorus in '94, the heavier sound in '00, the exteneded solos and keyboards in '03.

3. It is impossible to play a bad solo. I was playing over Black on my newly acquired Toledo DVD, and no matter how much you suck at guitar the solo sounds amazing. Try it out! (it's a natural E minor scale, but an E minor pentatonic sounds good too).

I don't really know. It's something people who play Half-Life on the internet say, and also something some people here say.

A long time ago, in Everquest or Warcraft (I forget which), at certain points, there was supposed to be a marquee on the screen saying "[Insert Name Here] got owned." The person programming it fucked up and wrote "pwned" instead. It was adopted by the entire gaming community and a few years ago, Half-Life geeks such as myself started using it. It's not really all that clever anymore and "pwns" is more common than "owns" across the internet.

The crowd in Benaroya is a whole new reason to enjoy it again.

That makes me wish I was there... the crowd singing is amazing... and then the huge cheer after it... damn.

yeah..the new version with the cranked up vocals in the beginning...that makes it worth it all over again, although the studio version from Ten still pulls my heartstrings
