With another "Big Name" Band? I was just reading a bit about Beck having a new album coming out soon and thought what a cool idea it would be for PJ to tour with Beck of someone of Beck's stature. Maybe a tour where they rotate who opens & who closes or figure out part way through the tour who works best in the opening slot. Anyone have any thoughts on why or why not PJ might ever do this?

I doubt it. Maybe a mini-tour but it's hard to play a bigger setlist with another big act.

It'd be cool if Soundgarden reunited and you could do a Lollapalooza '92 Reunion Tour with RHCP and Ice Cube!!!

That is what I was thinking.

But if Pearl Jam and REM ever played together, I would die a very, very happy person. :P

I would not be into this.. It would make it harder to get tickets, or we'd have to fight REM's or whoevers fanclub for the good seats. For 1 night I could tolerate most of those bands, but for an entire tour, I would rather them tour with a new band that I havent heard of, or some other smaller band that wouldnt have a large following.. The other part is with the last few tours, its been people singing along to every song from the front row to the rafters.. You put 50% of the crowd there to see someone else, and you'll lose all that intensity from the crowd...

just my 2 cents
