Is it really over? In many senses, I'll miss the song, but since it is now largely irrelevant, it will at least need an update if everything goes to shit.

God, I really hope this one is retired for good now - it's a terrible song.

I'm glad someone agrees with me on this one.

Yeah this really is horrible. I've listened to Riot Act a lot lately...thank god cd players have a skip button. I cant believe this made it on the album. It should have been a funny B-side AT MOST. It was acually really dissapointing for me that PJ couldnt come up with a better song in reaction to one of the most incompetent world leaders of all time.

Well,4 years too late.At least with the lyrics. The music was ready and they used it in a song called Undone.

The music to this song is awesome. Especially great live with the extended intro. Like warehouse, I hope they do something with it in the future.

I really don't like it on Riot Act, but I think it works quite well live actually.

But they didn't even play it last year and unless Ed changes the lyrics, I doubt they'll ever play it again.

At first I didn't like it, but as time wore on it grow on me. When I got to see them play it live it brought a whole new meaning to the song. It's one of those songs either you like it and catch it or don't like it at all. I think it fits in Riot Act, because it's portraying some unncertainty of what's going on in America at that time.

As far as them playing it again, it's not going to happen. It will just lose it's meaning behind it. Plus, there are plenty of other songs to choose from Riot Act. How about "Ghost"??

this song is pretty damn good

could care less about deeply scrutinizing every image in the lyrics

it sounds good
and i like to sing along
and thats what matters,

Its kind of a novelty song, sure, but people sleep on how awesome the actual music is. Disregard Eddie's spoken word part and you're left with something pretty cool.

I really really like the music. I think there was a big opportunity to make a great song, but the vocals and lyrics kinda messed it up. It's too bad, but we can look back with hilarity at some of the performances of this song.

i really fucking hope so - getting that stupid song in the second encore of a low on old stuff show can really fuck a gig. see wembley 07 for how to create the least suitable encores ever.
