Would it be cynical to think that we were told that these would be a series, in order to get us to buy it? I still haven't bought the Ten version but I've seen it and really only want the notebook thing. It's not really worth it for that.

i think it's bad management, but that's becoming my catch-all response to everything.

I think the band are to blame in a lot of this. i'd say getting these guys to sit down and decide anything together as a group other than touring stuff, is hard work. And I wouldn't even imagine they give a shit about that too much other than the nothing longer than 3 weeks rule they seem to have developed.

Yeah, Ten Club takes a lot of shit, but all they can do is tell us what Kelly tells them they can tell us. It's not like 10C decided to reissue Ten or make it a series. They were just given the products to sell and ship.

Absolutely, but I still feel like the fan club should do some advocating for the fans. Like maybe the ten club could speak up and say "hey, we sort of went back on a promise here, what's the deal?"

It used to be super ultra fan friendly, we all know that. man they've resent me orders up to three times that never arrived and eventually DHL'd it to me. Somewhere round 2000 that seem to have all changed and a 'business model' came in and fan friendliness went right out the window. It's a real shame especially seeing as their numbers will no doubt have plateuaed and maybe even dropped off since 2000. So encouraging fan spending through a fan first attitude rather than kinda raping our wallets like they seem to be would have been better I think.

They don't do that let's be honest. I doubt any of the band have taken even a remote interest or even asked about the fanclub aside from ticket stuff for a long time. And if that incident with the seats that time is anything to go by I wonder have we all been tarred with the same brush?

Well, it is very likely that the band doesn't care what the Ten Club thinks, but I highly doubt that Tim doesn't have Kelly Curtis' phone number.

The hysterical/kinda disgusting thing is aren't the fanclub and management offices all in the same place?

Sad to think that the only album to get a fancy shmancy deluxe edition is the one album I have no interest in having a deluxe version of.

A band is supposed to be flaky, lazy, and unorganized. That's why they pay Curtis the big bucks.
