Hi, this is my first posting. Please be gentle.
I was wondering if anybody could give me some info on all or any circulating pj demos or sessions over the years. I'm asking because I plan on remastering the original sources and making a new Evolutions package. I can assure you that I'm extremely good at it, and that I have a lot of time and experience under my belt. Anyways, this is a list of what I have and what I looking for: Thanks again.
HAVE:
- 1990-10-23 (Rehearsals)
- 1991-01-29 Alive (Promotional Single)
- Bad Radio
- Gossman Project (only 2 songs)
- Mookie Blaylock
- Ten (Rough Mix)
- Vitalogy (Rough Mix)
- Vs
- Green River (3 songs)
- Mother Love Bone
- Temple Of The Dog (3 songs)
- Andrew Wood
- Man Of The Hour (Demo) Single
- Single Video Theory (DVD Rip)
DON'T HAVE:
- I need the remaining Gossman Project
- Light Years (Demo) PLEASE HELP
- anything else???
Hopefully when I'm done I can share this over the internet.
Thanks.

Obviously you can spend your time doing whatever you want to do despite what I or anyone else has to say about it. BUT I did want to take a sec and point out some problems.
First, from your list of “HAVE’s”. The three songs that make up the Temple of the Dog demos are not Pearl Jam in really anyway. From the information I’ve gathered, it’s just Chris Cornell recording those songs. Perhaps Matt Cameron and the rest of PJ participated as well, but that’s never been confirmed and you add in to the fact that there are several other Cornell demos from that period which are confirmed to be just Chris alone, and well, I’ve never been sold on PJ’s participation on those demos.
Second, why have the SVT sessions on there? They are just the band rehearsing for their opening slot touring for the Rolling Stones? It’s not like they were really demoing the songs or recording them for the album. They were just rehearsing…
Third, there is a ton of Andy Wood/MLB/Malfunkshun demos as well as Eddie Vedder solo/Bad Radio demos and it’s never been quite clear to me aside from several obvious tracks, which are which and when they’re from. And if you’re going to include it all, you might want to also add in the extensive set of material that Andy’s brother Kevin sells off his website which has some weird Andy material.
Fourth, the Gossman project is yet to be available with a completely lossless lineage. I know because I’ve searched the last few years for it. Though I SHOULD have it within the next few weeks… hopefully.
Finally, Spacedvest, who has remastered and produced so many of the finest quality shows for the audiophiles out there, has an extensive early PJ set in the works. Its huge and once I deliver Gossman to him, I think he’s got it almost altogether. From memory, it’s supposed to be a 5 or 6 cd set.
So again, I don’t want to put a damper on what you’re planning and don’t mean to seem like I’m criticizing your work, you can do whatever you want, but I just saw some potential problems and well had to make a note about them.
