Today on Jonesys Jukebox (Indie 107.1) Jonesy's guest was Peter Frampton. They got to talking about Ed's visit last week and P. Frampton mentioned that he was a big PJ fan and that tomorrow he was flying to Seattle to do some recording with the PJ guys. i guess they are recording an instrumental for an instrumental album P. Frampton is doing and he mentioned something about recording a cover. He didn't really elaborate about it at all. He did say that they were using all PJ's sound people and recording at one of the studios they use. ( I assumed Litho or X)

It was during the second hour of the show for those of you that want to catch the replay. Anyway, sorry if this has already been posted. I'm a newbie.

Peter Frampton must be a guilty pleasure for Ed.

"I worked on a movie with Peter Frampton. Peter Frampton is a musical legend, but I don't know his body of work, so I had to think of something to say. "Hey Peter Frampton, do you like toast, too? As do I. It is warm and crispy. And the perfect place for jelly to lay. Now get away from me Frampton, I ain't got shit to say to you!"

Frampton joined PJ and Neil Young onstage at the VFC show in Toledo, Ohio, last year. He did not appear to sing at all, just stood in the background, jamming with Mike, Neil, et al....

I couldn't imagine looking at this in the recording studio and being inspired, even though he doesn't have any hair.

I wouldn't mind a vocoder solo at the end of Tremor Christ, would you?
