I don't know how old you are or what job you have, but a wrist tatoo is not a very good idea unless you're well settled in your career and it's one that has no worries about tatoos (because you can't hide it easily). Just saying..the logo otoh is one i'm considering

companies are getting more progressive, relaxed, younger, etc. that tattoos aren't even a big deal. my company handbook just says as long as they aren't offensive they are fine.

I have thug life tattooed on my neck. No one at work seems to care too much.

THIS.
How hard is it to wear long sleeves? I've got a tattoo idea I want on my inner wrists, because it's the most beautiful part of the body for a tattoo for a male, I think.
Granted, I'm going into academia, which isn't that strict, but really, unless you plan to work outside, you can always wear a dress shirt and a watch and no one would be any the wiser. And if you plan to work outside, no one gives a fuck.

If you do anything remotely commercial, visible tatoos are not a good idea, simply because some customers are backward and care about it. And long sleeves in 100+ heat is going to look very comfortable and natural indeed! (plus long sleeve won't necessarily cover a tat on the wrist all the time). I don't care, I just want to make sure he's aware of the potential problems...removal cost a lot more than putting it on..

In theory you can remove a tattoo, in practice i think it leaves scars which are even worse. The wrist is my nr 1 spot for a tattoo as well, maybe one day i'll get one.
it really depends in which field you work in. i have a wrist tattoo as well (i'm in IT/Telecom) and have yet to find a company that gives a shit about it.

You can actually hide it pretty easily. I have one.

what? some careers (there's still plenty of people that think tatoos are not right) will have zero tolerance on tatoos (and wrists are like necks ones, you can't 100% hide it all the time..unless you never move!) so if there's chances you might still change career, it might close options. Something that someone immature might not realise.

Perhaps some people care more about tattoos than a career. "Settled in your career" sounds so .

'certain you'll never need a job where it'll be a problem' ..there, better?

A dude at my local Barnes & Noble has Latin tattooed across the back of each hand. One says "Veritas," although I don't know what's on his other hand. Haven't gotten a good look.
Regarding the STBC logo. Isn't that kind of a stock symbol associated with Epic 45rpm singles? I'm not so sure its directly connected to Pearl Jam. I hope that's not the case if its being inked.

It's a pretty standard thing. That's why I don't really like tattoos; you think you're one of a kind but there's thousands walking around with the same damn ink stamp.
