Very good, subtle. The ending is the best - listen for Ed's scream before the outro.

not a fan of the understated guitar at the beginning... i mean, i didnt grow up with the album, but i've probably heard that song since it came out(parents listening to alternative radio) and i remember it from when i first got into PJ; it was never one of my favorites, but that bass line into big guitar is what draws you into the song.

Hmm. Too many "spoke in's" for me, I'm afraid. They rob the last quarter of the song of some intensity. Don't like it.

I really like it, especially the natural-sounding bass intro.

Diff'rent strokes, I guess. Always thought this, along with Oceans, was one of the songs that was horribly mixed originally, glad to see some of the murk stripped off.

I think it's an improvement. Hearing that bass outro coming in earlier sounds so cool. My only dislike is the 'spoke in' samples. It sounds too obviously artificial.

i didn't like the fact the ed's vocals has been lowered at the repeating "who?who?" part
all the rest just rocks

The outro is pretty weird. It'll take some getting used to.

The bass outro doesn't come in any earlier, I checked with my old copy of Ten. Same time.

How come you think the "spoke in" backing vocals (pretty sure it's Stone) are samples? They're all over the original mix too.

Yeah, but it's nice to hear it coming in earlier. And i think the 'spoke in's are Ed, but they don't sound like nautral, live takes. It sounds like a shoddy cut and paste job...when they're lower in the mix it's more subtle, but pushed up in the mix, it sounds a bit amatuer. Overall I love this version though.

That's the thing about the remixes, i love having both versions of the album so i can go back and forth and enjoy all the songs for different reasons.

I don't even think it's released in AUS yet, let alone anything being shipped from TEN club.

true. it is cool hearing all the extra rhythm stuff stone does on the songs, which really got buried in the original mixes.
