Hahaha. Well those tunes are clearly post-Ten era, even Angel. It appears that in terms of studio tracks, the cut-off point for the band was May 1991, i.e., the departure of Dave Krusen.
The original post makes an excellent point, Wash is a Ten-era track. However, there are already at least two versions of Wash that have been officially released. Plus, I am not really sure that the existing versions of Wash were mixed by the same person who mixed the original Ten.

So if I understand correctly... State Breath Wash Brother Just a Girl Alone 2000 Mile Blues Evil Little Goat
Were all extras in the Ten Era
I had been hoping that the songs from the Alive EP would have seen the light of day as well - Alive (different version), Footsteps, and I've Got a Feeling.
Then of course we could hope for the Re-Mixed Even Flow, Dirty Frank and original Ledbetter. Alas, it would have been nice to get them all on the same release. I haven't liked how it is pieced together between different releases.
Shit, If the powers that be were too fucking cheap to include RITFW and Sonic Reducer, there is no way they even considered I've Got A Feeling - which I would have really loved to have seen included.
The additional tracks on the redux are all "previously unreleased."
The alternate take of Even Flow with Dave Abruzzese is on Rearview Mirror (which is also the version on the Alive EP).
Multiple versions of Footsteps and Dirty Frank have already been released so I really see no point in the band rehashing that stuff. In the modern era of CD burning and itunes playlists people can just make their own compilations of this stuff.
If I am going to pay money for Pearl Jam reissues, I want the extras to be versions not commericially available in the past. I think they did a pretty good job with the selections for the redux.

Agreed on the I've Got a Feeling. I think we are discussing two different Alive EPs - the one that was pre-Ten with Wash, Alive and I've Got a Feeling vs the Alive (Live), Re-Mix of Even-Flow-Dirty Frank and Wash - I have them both and just need to sit down and burn the whole thing with all the outakes and B-sides.
Yep - I am lazy, however grateful more stuff is coming out.

I wonder, if we tried making an album each out of all the original b-sides from each album, which album would come out on top?`Seems to me like the Ten-era could easily fill a whole album with band written b-sides, most of whom are top class.

I remember seeing a thread here before where someone made an alternative Ten...making a track by track correlation with all the b-sides. It was pretty strong, but not as compelling as the overall thing.

Sounds interesting. Are these all the original Pearl Jam songs that could be included from the Ten era?

Not including any covers.
Does Dirty Frank count? That was recorded after the Ten sessions.

I grew up with Dirty Frank being on the European Ten, so I can't imagine not including it. But you bring up a good point, on how strict to be. Should it only include the Ten sessions, or Ten era songs. Dirty Frank was played live several times in 1992, it was on the Even Flow single, and as mentioned it was released on the European Ten alongside Wash and a live version of Alive including Matt Chamberlain.

The version of Wash on Lost Dogs definitely sounds like a new mix and it's far superior to the original b-side version. Also, they specifically didn't release anything that was already available on Lost Dogs (since that was only released 6 years ago) and I think that was a smart choice. I'm glad to see a version of Breath and State made it on this since I was kind of annoyed that they didn't make it onto Lost Dogs.
