Off topic - but if you've ever follow Brendan O'brien recordings (like any of the recent springsteen albums) he records often in Atlanta and has a studio there. Methinks EV is there doing vocals and happens to be there when the Zinn movie is going on?

True Story - I recently moved from Atlanta to Washington D.C., but during my seven years in Atlanta I had this goal to find O'Brien's studio, Southern Tracks, and pretty much stalk it until I saw EV, Springsteen, or one of his other famous clients. The Southern Tracks website gives no hints on its location (likely due to people like myself) and it's unlisted in phone books, so I quickly gave up on my goal. Then, about a month before I moved to D.C., I met this girl who installed/repaired studio electronics and soon enough she revealed Southern Track's secret location to me. Turns out the studio was, literally, directly across the street from my office. My parking space looked directly at the studio and I drove by it every day for three years, but I had no idea that was the studio because it used a fake name as a front of sorts. Now, when I listen to "Queen of the Supermarket" on Springsteen's new album, it takes on a whole new meaning as I'm pretty sure I know which Supermarket he wrote the song about.
Needless to say, in the few weeks before I moved, I did much snooping but did not see any famous musicians.

So, what "kind of" location was it? What kinda name did it have too? Like... "Acme Tomato Corporation" or something?
Pearl Jam makes surprise visit to Atlanta Film Festival By MARCUS K. GARNER
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Thursday, April 16, 2009
Pearl Jam, the rock band born from the ’90s “grunge” movement, made a surprise visit Thursday to opening night of the Atlanta Film Festival.
The quintet made a low-key entrance to the festival — avoiding the red carpet — to see lead singer Eddie Vedder’s appearance in the Tony Sacco film, “The People Speak,” festival executive director Gabriel Wardell said.
Vedder will participate in a Q and A after the film ends around 10 p.m., Wardell said.
The group debuted in 1991 with the chart-topping album “Ten,” and followed with consecutive Billboard No. 1 albums “Vs.,” “Vitalogy,” and “No Code.”
Pearl Jam won their only Grammy in 1995 for the record “Spin the Black Circle.”
Wardell said the group was in town making a new album with Atlanta producer Brendan O’Brien, the mastermind behind several of Pearl Jam’s hit albums and Bruce Springstein’s Grammy-winning Best Rock album “The Rising,” and latest work, “Working on a Dream.”

confirmed by another source that met Mike last night:

He said they are all in Atlanta working on the album and will be touring starting September. Didn't say where or give any details but said they are going out! I can't wait! I saw a couple other people talking with him later so maybe they got more info out of him but he was so nice! It was a great night!!
