Yep, for sure I enjoyed this movie, for sure. I do however sooo much wish they were able to hold a bit more of a critical mirror to themselves with certain issues. I watched the Foo Fighters doco the other night and that was brilliant and managed to include everyone who'd been in the band to allow their say. The obvious tension and occassional discomfort that resulted made for a far more well-rounded and honest documentary.
In all honesty I take my hat off to Dave Grohl for that - life is warts and all and its great to see a "superstar" acknowledge that and not try and gloss over history to better suit his own needs.
But like I said PJ20 was great and I loved it for what it was - PJ don't owe me any in depth examination of their history as a band, I'd just love to see their take on it.

it was a good celebration of the band. It was not a gripping critical history of it, so if that is what you were looking for it won't be a good movie, but it's also pretty clear that this isn't what Crowe was looking to do either.
