I not nothing about the recording process, but these recordings seem very raw. Can someone enlighten me on the process? Will these sound this way on the album?

no, they're unmastered.

man. I've been lurking here for...months, probably. I should have never read this thread. Not having heard the leaked songs, I'm going slightly mental reading about them. I'm a glutton for punishment, though, so I'll probably just keep reading. At least everyone here who's heard the tracks can say "hey, yeah, we're cooler than that new guy...we heard the new songs, and he hasn't yet..."

Severed Hand for me. I just about drove off the highway during Mike's solo an hour ago. Okay, I didn't really almost drive off the road, because I am an excellent driver worthy of praise. But I did flip out. I love it.
Parachutes will take some time to grow on me, but my intial impressions are all positive.
I like Unemployable more every time I hear it.
I think all of these songs are going to sound great live, which has me most excited.

Where the Riot Acts leaks unmastered because they did not seem to sound as raw?
