There's also no problem with concerned people trying to get someone to quit either. Fans can't force Eddie to quit, but they're allowed to voice their opinion on that as much as Eddie has his platform to talk about politics (which I also support him having). Just because Eddie is allowed to make his choice doesn't mean that the people he comes in contact with lose their right to have an opinion on it, or express it.

Agreed, however in my experience 90% of the people who have tried to convinve me to quit smoking have been total dicks about it. I know it's unhealthy and will give me cancer, someone constantly telling me that isn't going to change anything for me.

Sure--I'm not saying it's tactically going to be useful or anything

Whenever anyone sees me smoking and tells me it's "bad for me" I usually go "OMG REALLY? I HAD NO IDEA, I'LL QUIT RIGHT NOW!"

It's bad for you Pete :cop:

Funny, I'm sure I'll die if I don't smoke too.

you want a singer less like yourself?

I'd rather be an egotistical twat than a mentally challenged twat like yourself.

What are risk factors for pancreatic cancer?
There are some factors which can increase the risk of acquiring the genetic mutations that may potentially result in pancreatic cancer. These risk factors are outlined in the table below. You will notice that coffee and alcohol are not listed. Currently there is not strong evidence to suggest that consumption of either substance will increase your risk for developing cancer of the pancreas.

1. Cigarette smoking
Cigarette smoke contains a large number of carcinogens (cancer causing chemicals). Therefore, it is not surprising that cigarette smoking is one of the biggest risk factors for developing pancreatic cancer. For example, smoking during college has been associated with a 2-3 fold increased risk of pancreatic cancer.

Well, I'm really not too concerned with "facts" and brainy information that comes from books. I'm more of a gut feeling kind of a guy. And my gut tells me that cigarette smoking does not cause pancreatic cancer. That's all the truthiness I need.

Only smoking during college has been associated with a 2-3 fold increased risk? So by this research I can smoke now and not have to worry about this increased risk?

Eddie should do what Mike did to quit - Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Smoking - apparently that's what worked for him:
