If Sad were released as a single back in 2000 I bet it would get decent radio play. Binaural just isn't a radio friendly album, it's chock full of mystery. Nothing on that album, at least to me, is a sing along in the styles of Alive, Betterman, Given To Fly, I Am Mine, etc...

On a side note, I heard Hail Hail on the radio the other day :thumbsup:

and is in my personal top 5 with
Sleater Kinneys The Woods
Neil Youngs Mirror Ball (and not just because of PJ, I LOVE that album period)

Mirrorball is a great record..very memorable night seeing Neil & Pj rock it out here in Dublin in 95...only time Stone ever smashed a guiter, ever...there's a video somewhere...and Brendan O Brien was on keys..memories:)

Ed wasn't at any of those Europe shows, was he? wasn't he doing the Mike Watt thing/van tour with Dave Grohl? I always thought the Mirrorball tour was for Jack's sake- to get his chops up for a PJ length tour...
