i was only suggesting that the musicians be focused on creating and on their craft, not that the final result was itself focused

I was there and that was kind of fun, but man it's not what they're supposed to be doing. However, it was followed by a pretty solid modern version of Porch. The transition kicked ass.

i'm convinced jeff and matt are the only ones with any sense left in the band; stone probably has some, but stopped caring so long ago that he can't be bothered to employ any of it

There were some great moments on the US 2010 tour and it was largely due to Stone being awesome.
