1990's Vedder would never have sung "Balls in Your Mouth" on late night TV. Nor would he have been so giddy/smiley as he was at PJ20. "Ole" would never have made it out of the vault 10 years ago. I gotta wonder... is Vedder finally happy? Is this post written like an exert from Sex and the City?

Wait another year and a few months... the way the economy/government is going... and the idiots listening to the talking heads on Fox News... were likely to get another shot of Bush in the office... and well be back to our pissed off wtf is wrong with the world Ed

But 1990's Ed Vedder would agree to let the band to a rock/rap song for a major movie soundtrack? How is that any different from "Balls in your Mouth"?

I've heard rap isn't music at all, that it's really just a bunch of talking over some fake drums. Is this true?
