how can the philly shows be the most expensive and Ben Harper isn't even opening...........?? Lame
somebody will be opening though. I understand times are tough, but if $10 per ticket is gonna upset you, maybe concerts should not be a priority (no offense).

gotta complain about something. How about I complain about this piecemeal nonsense that they've been doing with releasing tour dates. IT's total BS and in my opinoin, extracting money from fans that will go see them regardless of where they play. will they play in NYC or Boston? I'd rather go to those shows, but if they aren't playing those sites....Philly would be my best bet. So....should I get tickets or not? That's the position the band has continued to put you in by doing this horseshit. It's really not right.

I think this has been a legitimate complaint for 4 years now (since 2006?), but the band refuses to change. however, the lack of leaked info and the gaps in the schedule make me wonder if this tour wasnt put together at the last minute.
regardless, it's really not fair to the fans and makes it nearly impossible to plan (I know, boohoo, people who have vacation and can afford to travel are complaining, but this band has thrived off of its traveling fan base for more than a decade now). I am planning to hit one of the cities announced today, but I am gonna be pissed if Red Rocks or Vegas get added!

I'm not sure what to do either. If those are the only shows, I'll try to hit Philly. But there are 19 days open before those shows and I have to figure they'll throw something else in there. I would hate to spend all that money and then find out there's show in Pittsburgh and Cleveland or something.
bought this poster in 1995, in milwaukee. (this is a bastardized version being used as a bootleg DVD cover.) ticket prices are now, what, sixty bucks more? oof.

That was fourteen years ago. You say that tickets are now $60 more this year than in 1995. That means tickets went up on average $4.29 (I rounded up for you) per year.
