Oh, and Jeff fingerboard is a dark one, probably rosewood, while the bay bass is clearly maple.

Well, its hard to visualize the middle pickup on the Jeff pic, i guess its the same body, but the neck is totally different. And a neck can totally change the vibe of a bass.

anyone notice the comments on the auction from jeff directly:

Q: During which live show(s) was this bass played by Jeff? Jun-29-07
A: This response is from Jeff: "I played it at about half of the shows in Europe last year for a song or two per night...and it was my warmup bass, it's all over the upcoming DVD due out this fall." Hoper this helps. Thanks
