Agreed, I was about to make a post saying Corduroy has my favirote bridge in any song ever.

Corduroy is pretty perfect, bridge n' all.

No Way has a fantastic spacey breakdown, that sorta counts.

Another vote for the instrumental bridge of Light Years/P&G. That bit is the highlight of both songs for me - the band must've been keen on it too, seeing as they kept it pretty much untouched.

Not For You. That's a good 'un.

EVACUATION - Okay, so we all know how much I'm the unofficial cheer squad for this song. But even if you're an Evacuation-hating philistine, you've gotta admit it's got a helluva bridge.

No Way is pretty great, but it only really works on the studio version. They couldn't quite cover all the parts live. The part with the descending bassline as the drums come back in before the chorus is brilliant.

I'd like to ass Down to the mix.

B - Wikipedia defines a musical bridge, thus: 'a contrasting section which also prepares for the return of the original material section'.

Typically pop/rock songs follow a Verse/Chorus/Verse/Chorus/Bridge/Chorus formula.

spenno, can we start an evacuation club and wear t shirts?

Corduroy, severed hand.

Also, all of Ten's bridges are horrible. So not well written. "uh, there should be another part here, uh, just do a solo?!" ok!

Just saying.

Except alive, obviously.

Yeah, I noticed that. Porch isn't bad. Most of the songs on Ten only have 2 parts.

that bridge is easily my least favorite part of that song. the part of both of those songs that i don't like.

Wow, that's the only part of Light Years I do like!

I was talking to my neighbour about her favourite flavour when I noticed a change in her behaviour and all the colour was drained from her face.

Yes. And yes to Corduroy.

Dissident instrumental bridge.

Faithful instrumental bridge is probably in my top 5 PJ moments.
