Vedder: The Man-Sandal Years
I'm reading through this thread and a page before this post someone posted "the sandal years" and I'm thinking "looks more like the man-sandal years...which is a lot funnier". In short, I'm really glad you're the one who made this post, Alex.

I have a feeling the studio version of Longing To Belong is going to be excellent.
You and me both, friend. You and me both.
I won't say I'm mad about 100% of Eddie's uke songs, but I think "Longing to Belong" is probably the single unreleased Pearl Jam-related item I'd like to see get a proper release. It's a gorgeous song.

thats actually why i give a shit. im interested to see what he does w/ it, and what else he incorporates w/ the uke. i dont think ill like it as much as ITW, though.

I'm far from excited either.
Remember, Can't Keep could have been a shitty uke song before the band got their hands on it...
Me either, then again I didn't care much for the solo Vedder album with other instruments so I doubt I'll like this very much. I can't see buying it but hopefully the solo Eddie fans dig it.

this should be an overwrought mess
i think it's much more likely to have the opposite problem--too underdeveloped.
I hope I'm wrong. I really really liked into the wild
