I've decided this is the greatest 1,2,3 combo of hard rock song - slow song - hard rock song in the history of music.

I mean 'Of The Girl' is great but not legendary but it perfectly compliments the two behemoths of Insignificance and Grievance.

I hope you all agree.

I think he meant "in the history of Western civilisation."

I concur, but the studio version of Grievance really doesn't compare to the live version. I know that's true with most Pearl Jam songs, but Grievance really suffered in the studio. It's been said before.

Of The Girl may just be the most underated PJ song.

I agree. In fact, I'd go as far to say that the run of

Insignificance
Of The Girl
Grievance
Rival
Sleight Of Hand
Soon Forget
Parting Ways

may be the best consecutive run of songs on any Pearl Jam album, other than maybe the first five songs of Vitalogy. The only song on there that's not an absolute killer is Soon Forget, and that's short enough and pleasant enough that it acts as a nice respite as opposed to anything intrusive.

Grievance isn't really that good. Live or Studio.
Insignificance and Of the Girl are great though.

Hail,Hail - Who You Are - In My Tree
Jeremy - Oceans - Porch

are better combos IMO

Really wish Of the Girl got more love.

well In My Tree's definitely not hard rock, and I wouldn't call Jeremy that either.

This.

The good thing with Binaural for me is that while pretty much everyone agrees that after the first 3 tracks the albums great, yet some hate God's Dice/Evacuation, I still love those two.

Good for me.

Insignificance and Grievance are pretty tame.
Jeremy and In My Tree are both just as "hard rock" as Insignificance or Grievance.
Pearl Jam is a hard rock band.
