I listened to all the studio albums front to back a few times. The biggest surprise to me upon reflection is that Riot Act is really good.

Yield may have been overrated by the fan base because it was truly a "return to form" (ie. a straight ahead rock record) after No Code. But pound for pound, Riot Act is a better record. I can't believe it but it's true. Listen. :twisted:

I'm happy to be banned for liking Riot Act. Seriously, I was as surprised as you at my reappraisal of the albums.

I'm gonna put these records in order from first to worst shortly but I might keep it to myself. I'll probably be banned by then anyway.

There's no song on Binaural, Riot Act, Self Titled or Back Spacer better than "Given to Fly".
