I love this song so much. It's in my top 4 with johnny guitar, unthought known, and force of nature.
I was just about to respond that we share the same top 4, then i remembered Just Breathe and The End. Damn this album is good!

It has such a GnR - STP - Velvet Revolver vibe to it.....and me likes it, a lot! [That said, I wish Supersonic or even Got Some was the opener and GSMF was the second half rocker.....]

those three bands converge at the worst point of their respective musics, so that might explain why i don't like this much.

The character of this song changes with the bridge. I think it goes from good to great at that point.

I don't really get that comparison much anymore. I did from that 10 second snippet of the chorus, but certainly not in the song as a whole

This song is missing a really, sweet, groovin' guitar solo. If you stuck that in at the end of the bridge, it would be a 10 and it would blow the mind of all who listened.

no, i don't hear it either. but i thought, well, maybe i missed it, cause if it does sound like that, that explains why i wasn't a fan. i don't want to hear "Slither" done by Pearl Jam.

Some of the guitar is Slash-esque and Ed's layered vocals are Appetite- and/or Contraband-esque (to my ears, anyway).

Can't warm up to this one at all..Supersonic or got some woulda been better as openers I reckon..Just don't feel it..can't see them playing it too much either.

I can see them playing it and fucking up Ed's voice for the rest of the show

Yeah, Ed's vocals are so unhinged on this song that I'm surprised his throat didn't collapse from singing it. It's a really thunderous opener though and I dig it.

yes, so can I. It's that low voice, maybe. Anyway, I *love* this song. Listening to the album I don't get far because I want to play this one on repeat. It has definately what appealed me to 'grunge', maybe even something 'hair band'.. And the best: it's instant happiness and energy. Amazing how they have been able to catch that in a song.
groetjes, Mirella
