Update:
The More Than Ten Blog is continuing to attract Pearl Jam fans from all across internet land, but the flow of comments/stories/opinions has slowed. RM'ers: come check out the blog seeking to add insight to every single Pearl Jam original one by one. Recent songs include:
Tremor Christ Oceans Pilate Aye Davanita World Wide Suicide
fivevs1.wordpress.com
Inspired by the R.E.M. blog Pop Songs 07, where the writer has set out to write about every single R.E.M. track in the catalog, one at a time, I've set out to do the same for Pearl Jam!
I invite all of the Red Mosquito folks to read, respond, argue, disagree, comment, etc. at fivevs1.wordpress.com
I don't expect all of my views and opinions will jibe with everyone (starting with the first entry for "Even Flow"), but it's a fun project and a good excuse for me to travel through the entire catalog again, mixing critical and personal views.
Enjoy!

Good read. Keep it up. I'll check back for sure when you have a few more songs up. This is actually a great idea for a hobby. I've thought about doing something similar in the past too.

that's a great idea. A friend of mine and I were going to try and do something like that in 1998 but never got around to it. Looking forward to reading it. Post some of your thoughts in the SOTM threads

I very well might!
A few people have posted comments already, and they are much appreciated--even those, and maybe especially those, who disagree with my opinions of the songs.
There's only been one which I have not published because although it's author had some good criticisms, they were a dick about it. So please read and react, but don't be a dick. Or, if you are going to be a dick, include your e-mail to at least engage in a dialogue.

Hey folks--
Just a reminder 'bout More Than Ten (fivevs1.wordpress.com). It's going well, with a great bunch of regular commenters adding insight to the posts. Stop on by and add your two or more cents.
Songs covered so far:
Dissident
I'm Still Here
Of the Girl
Even Flow
Aye Davanita
Who You Are
Get Right
More posts going up all the time. Hopefully I'll be able to write one or two a day.
Take care,
SlowEducation

A lot of people do apparently, which is a-ok by me. But what's even better is when they express why in the comments section!

Folks:
The More Than Ten website has been chugging along, with over 80 entries so far on its quest to review every single Pearl Jam original known to exist, or at least heard by its author's ears. There's a loyal, talented group of commenters who enjoy responding to the posts. I invite you to browse the site and offer your thoughts as well!
Recent posts include "Do the Evolution", "Angel", "Daughter", and "Breakerfall".
Thanks!

I really enjoy reading your blog. Your observations and the responding comments are always interesting and insightful. Even readers who don't post are enjoying the effort that you have put into it. From your site, I've found some other interesting blogs that I have also been enjoying. Yours, however, is one of the best. Please keep it up!
