When I hit 'play.'
+1
just woke up and I'm still excited. Today will be the day for the excitement to settle hopefully and really investigate it and explore it while sitting with someheadphones cigarettes and coffee...plus it's really sunny outside so I'm gonna take it all in & get into it properly..
The End is my favourite..I think.

I love it when Jeff comes in on Just Breath. His bass playing on this one is great.
Yeah, the balance between the guitar and bass on that is brilliant. Jeff absolutely nailed it.
Good call - Jeff's bassline on that song is perfection.
you're kidding right? The bassline sounds like it sound be in a country western and everyone is on horseback mustering cattle. It destroys the song for me.

"Riding high amongst the waves/I can feel like I, have a soul that has been saved/ I can see the light coming through the clouds and rain" love that line. Also ""And I sleep with the light on, in case she comes"" In Johnny Guitar.

Jeff really shines on this record.
Jeff and Matt really have something special going on together in the album, and I can finally say "Welcome Mr Matt Cameron. In my eyes you are now THE Pearl Jam drummer." He sounds great on this album.

I'm guessing, just a hunch here, you don't like country music?
I'm no country nut, but it has it's place. I sure love country influenced rock, Neil Young's "Harvest" for example.
