One of the few songs that are better on the album and not live.

I love the solo on it. Feels a bit incomplete but a good song. Eddie could be a bit more passionate with his delivery, but on the other hand the washed out vocals fit the feel of the song.

I played riot act for a friend of mine who is a u2 die hard but not much of a pearl jam fan (we play new PJ and u2 albums for each other) and this was one of the songs that she really liked on the first listen.

Its an all right song, I think it would have been a decent b-side

I really like Ghost. Depending on my mood, it is my favorite on Riot Act. I prefer the studio version, but there are some good live ones out there.

It depends on the mood. Not that bad of a song.

It is OK, probably would have been better as a B side. It just seems a little boring.

Great song!! Great solo!! And as someone already said, the vocal delivery totally fits the feel of the song...

The last verses are truly amazing and the "dyyyyiiiinnnggg" part is so very haunting. One of the best songs on Riot Act.

Ahh, let's not forget the lyrics!!

As with most of the songs on Riot Act, I didn't really like this song till I heard it on one of the bootlegs. After giving it a few more listens, I really liked it. One of my favorite tracks from the album.

I can understand not liking it but awful is a very strong word that should only be reserved for Hitchhiker.

I agree with you 100 percent on Hitchhiker, also throw in Don't Gimme No Lip, too, on that pile of crap. Ghost is a great song, the Boston 2003 version is very cool. Check out the boot. :D

def. one of my favs on riot act. i don't think it holds up that great live, though. the studio version rocks.

it contains some of my favorite lyrics:

it doesn't hurt when i bleed
but my memories they eat me
i've seen it all before
bring it on 'cause i'm no victim

I like the song a lot, but the production is just crap on it. The mix just sounds poor. For some reason I think it would go well with a Top Gun sequel.
