The Track 4 of the RM Ultimate PJ mix thread is here, but we cant start it until we see what happened with Track 3:

The Results:
1 Alive(21)
2 Not For You(12)
3 No Way(10)
4 Who You Are(8)
5 Daughter(2)
6 Love Boat Captain(1)
7 Evacuation, Comatose, The Fixer(0)

OK it looked at first like No Way was going to pull off some epic upset(at least in my eyes,) but Alive took control like most favorites do. I was still really suprised to see No Way getting double digit votes.

wow... this is the toughest one for me so far, I love every one of these songs. I guess it comes down to In My Tree and Given To Fly for me. I'm gonna go with In My Tree.

this one is going to be a barnburner I think, I can see it going in a number of directions, let the madness begin.

Holy shit, that's one heck of a list. Well, the weakest is Severed Hand. Second weakest is Why Go. But the rest are top notch PJ tracks, imo.

It's going to be In My Tree, Given to Fly, Tremor Christ, Glorified G and Light Years. That's my vote.

Edit: and Johnny Guitar.

Am I correct in thinking the 4th tracks are the best overall so far? That list is amazing on it's own, ne'er a brown patch to be seen..even Severed Hand has its place. Glorified G..we hardly knew you..

Definetely. Even the tracks that are likely to get no votes are great songs, Glorified G, Severed Hand, Cropduster... not one filler track on this list.

It is easy for me to eliminate a few of these (Cropduster, Glorified G), but the rest are a really strong bunch.

My inclination is to go with Light Years though -- but wow, that was tough.

it's the song that if it's not played at the show, I feel like it was a poorer show for it. That song is my definition of Pj and the song I'd give to a newbie trying to convert them. Top 5 for me. Love IMT but Given to Fly for the win.



Track 4 is gonna be the most contentious of all!!

Also, Glorified G is the absolute worst Pearl Jam song ever. The lyrics are beyond stupid. The riff in the verse is OK and there is some decent soloing but the chorus is retarded - I am surprised that people actually like this piece of garbage.

Finally, I like these threads but it seems clear that we are going to have a (mostly) best of Ten, Vs. and Vitalogy which is a shame. I hope I'm wrong!
