Wondering if my little podcast experiment is doomed with this announcement...
It's a 16-part series. I think you're ongoing, audio podcast fills an entirely different need.

I've thought about this idea in the last few years. Bands are trying to find innovative ways to make up for the downturn in album sales these days. How hard is it to webcast live concerts? What if a band hosted a webcast for every show of their tour and fans could pay a flat fee to watch the gigs around the world? I know an image conscious band like PJ would probably be somewhat guarded about such an idea, but it does seem like a nice possibility for certain bands in the evolution of the music business. If you could pay $50 and watch a world tour, would that be something you might be interested in? I'd be down.

I can think of a few bands I would do that for, but I could not be counted on to be at the right place at the right time to watch them, so I would need a way to record them and watch when I can, unless they kept everything archived. That would be pretty cool.
