I just read in Croatian newspapers Jutarnji List and severeal other news sites that Stone Gossard will be replaced during Australia/NZ tour and probably 4 Philadelphia shows because of injure during last Pearl Jam show.

dont know if this is true but here are some links from Bosnia and Croatia

Bosnian news sites
http://www.sarajevo-x.com/showtime/muzi ... /091022122
http://krajina.ba/index.php/krajina/bih ... l-jam.html
http://www.pincom.info/index.php?p=opsirnije&s=71064
http://www.rtvmo.ba/index.php?option=co ... 8&Itemid=2

Croatian news sites
http://www.tportal.hr/showtime/glazba/4 ... -Jama.html
http://www.24sata.hr/show/edin-iz-bihac ... am/141659/
http://www.glasistre.hr/showbiz/vijest/124327

in short, firs article says that Gossard will be replaced with Bosnian guitarst Edin Hadžiomerović (32) who lives in Seattle and plays guitar in Seattle band Puget. Eddie aparently met Edin during some smaller festival in Seattle this summer. Article states that Edin is big Pearl Jam fan and is familiar with all Pearl Jam songs. It also says that he's been on rehearsals with band last few days and that the band is very pleased with new member.

edit: 3rd bosnian article says that Gossard wont be able to play in Australia and New Zeland because of personal reasons, there is no mention about any injury

This infromation leaked from Edin's close friend who sent this info to several Bosnian newspapers.

hmmm, no Gossard? this sounds like BS to me...

why there is no info from 10c about this???

I'm pretty sure there would have been an official announcement from the band if this were true. I highly doubt this is accurate.

and I'm pretty sure the band would cancel the dates rather than play without Stone.

Yeah, he did. It was a show in 2002 when Pearl Jam opened for The Who.

The setlist was Last Kiss, Insignificance, Grievance, I Am Mine, Love Boat Captain, Green Disease, Not For You, Betterman, Leaving Here, Yellow Ledbetter

09/23/02 – House of Blues, Chicago, IL (benefit for the Maryville Academy; opening for The Who) [47m]
soundcheck (previous day): Better Man, Insignificance, Grievance, You Are, Save You, I Am Mine, Not For You, Leaving Here, Yellow Ledbetter, Can’t Keep, Green Disease, Love Boat Captain, one other new song (9/22/02 soundcheck not in correct order)
soundcheck: Last Kiss, Grievance (2X), Green Disease, Insignificance, Leaving Here
set: Last Kiss, Insignificance, Grievance, I Am Mine, Love Boat Captain, Green Disease, Not For You, Better Man, Leaving Here, Yellow Ledbetter
notes: Originally this benefit was to feature Ed plus C-Average opening for The Who, but PJ (minus Stone, who had a prior commitment with Conservation International) opened. In a funny twist, a near life-sized cardboard cutout of Stone wearing a gold glittery jacket and holding Pete’s Gibson is brought out on the stage. (Ed quips about Stone being very “one dimensional” tonight.) Boom, a native Hawaiian friend of Ed’s (who plays on some of the forthcoming Riot Act tracks), fills in on keyboards. Jeff, in an obvious nod to the late John Entwistle, wears a skeleton t-shirt. Ed notes at one point during the show that Boom flew in from the islands just for this show. ‘Leaving Here’ is nailed and a a hit with The Who fans. ‘Yellow Ledbetter,’ with modified lyrics (referencing Entwistle), closes the set with Ed noting it “takes a lot of balls” to play on the stage that The Who are about to come out on. A quick set with the band cheerful and a mix of songs to play to that particular crowd, de-emphasize Stone’s absence and introduce a few new ones.

Yes, it's some one who impersonates him, he has been eradicated and the truth can no longer be hidden. This photo definitely shows the Taoist sign of the death, the sunglasses. And it is mixed with the Egyptian sign of Seth, a war god (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Set_(mythology)) and there's certainly something if you consider that Ed is Horus and Stone's Set.
