I've noticed that on some Pearl Jam albums, they may have a lyric, and then that lyric will be referenced later in the album.

I.E.
Vs:
Daughter: "The shades go down..."
RVM: "Finally the shades are raised."

No Code:
Red Mosquito: "If I had known then, what I know now."
I'm Open: "If he only knew now, what he knew then."

Can anyone else think of any other examples of this?

I was hoping they go back to the "felationship" term from Hitchhiker.

I was kind of hoping the word 'citing would be on Backspacer more than once.

I just thought of this the other day whilst listening to Yield, but I can't remember, so I'll have to report back after I listen to it again.

Im not stupid .i know waves and oceans appear in Ed lyrics all the time.
but there are like 4 or 5 songs on Vitalogy alone with the specific word "Ocean", "Blood" and "Sun" in them. Not randomly, but used as very powerful conceptual and metaphorical tools that help pull alot of the songs together.

.... and they're not on the same album but... TMW and MotH both mention "rusted signs."

I've noticed this quite a bit in Backspacer.
Just Breathe and The End both reference "human being"

Just Breathe - "Under everything, just another human being"
The End - "Slide on next to me. I’m just a human being"

Also, blood and bleeding are both referenced in different songs to signify pain or hardship on this album.

This is the one that came to my mind.
It stands out the most b/c how often do you hear someone talking about rusted signs?
Its more common for multiple writings to contain lyrics about human beings, feeding, or trees.

Thumbing My Way is a great tune and very underrated I think.

I always thought that was more a self reference than continuity though.
