Awesome song, love all the lyrics although the deliver originally took a while to get used to but now it sounds fine. Probably 2nd best on the album behind Unknown Thought for me. 4.5 stars
Great song. Top two of the album. Beautiful with a side of cheese, but it's good cheese.

4 stars
Absolutely beautiful song, I love it, but... the 'oh huhs' annoy me, and it's made worse by the fact they're even written in the booklet. One star taken off for all the 'oh huhs.' Give me 'yeah yeah yeahs' any day compared to those.

This one falls somewhere between 4 and 5 stars for me, but for the sake of this poll i think ill go 4 stars.
My only (small) complaint is the overstated chorus. Scale this part down a notch and it would easily be a 5 star song for me.
For what its worth, my gf (who is a more casual fan) absolutely LOVES this song. Just guessing here but its probably her favorite thing the band has done since Yield. Of course she did love the ITW soundtrack...

I like the song, but it's 3 stars for me. Most of my issues have been already stated. I am not crazy about Ed's nasally vocals throughout the album, and it's especially apparent on this tune. Since it's compared to ITW so much, I still long for the clean, soaring voice from that soundtrack. It aint here.
Also, the chorus is a snoozer. "Did I say I need you...I want you..I'm a fool" Not the most earth-shattering and original lyrics. (Not that they have to be earth shattering, but I hope they are at least original).
The song did grow on me and I like Ed's guitar work in it. The bass annoys me to all hell. It's too loud and, for me, it's completely out of place. It's the only part of the song that hasn't grown on me. I loved hearing it the song love however...I think I'd prefer if the rest of the band left this song alone...keep it an Ed song. I feel the same way about Man of the Hour and Thumbing My Way.

These were both smooth early morning numbers. I think think guitar playing in self-polluted's song won me over though.
