I just bought the "save you" single as a gift for someone...I opened it because I wanted to hear the b side, and lo and behold, every single "fuck" is edited out of the song.

What the fuck is that all about? How could Sony do that and why was the single not marked as edited?

So fucking annoyed. :evil:

At least Newbury Comics is going to allow me to return it.

Oh, my virgin ears...I can't possibly be exposed to the word "fuck" in my music.

Um, the Save You single was always the edited version, even before Janet. I bought it on the day of release and it was edited then.

but at least my bad habit caught a fatal flaw in the single I was to give as a present...

And I always read books before I give them as gifts. At least I am consistent.

Time out here peoples ... this was a single, that is a RADIO SINGLE

Last i checked, you can't drop the F-bomb on radio.

That's it. period. They don't have to say that it was a radio-edit. Walmart only started using that type of label for sales at their stores only.
