How the fuck is Green Day leading PJ in the live artist category? I saw them headline back in '95 and they only played an hour. Shortest show I've ever been to.

It's easy to be confused about which decade this is when you see Pearl Jam and Green Day topping popularity polls.

i hate that they encourage multiple voting. But if those are the rules I'll play by them...

So what this poll will tell us isn't who is the best band, not even who is the most popular, only who is the most popular among people who have too much free time on their hands. And with this in mind, clearly PJ is going to win it

We can only hope
It's too bad there isn't a better way to measure intensity, which should count for something.

PJ has pulled ahead for band of the year, album of the year, and 3 of the top 5 songs of the year. Go power of the internet
Apparently we're still not willing to vote for the Fixer for video of the year though (I haven't)

Wow, where did "Unthought Known" come from?
I wish the Cranberries made the list for Most Welcome Back. I must admit, I didn't know they left, and also didn't know they came back. But still! Go Cranberries!

I voted Pearl Jam in the first few categories, but then saw Them Crooked Vultures listed, so I had to give them best new artist, song of the year and album of the year. Sorry guys.

I gave them best new artist and album of the year, but my favorite song this year was the Silversun Pickup's track The Royal We.
How did 3 Pearl Jam songs get in for song of the year? And The Fixer as best video? That's funny.

You know...the fixer isn't a "good video" but everything else ive ever seen on tv...usually consists of...
guy and girl, guy and girl fight, rain drops, tears are formed, kissing is involved, and perhaps hte couple gets back together.
Its its booty shaking.
Unless im missing some other videos out there the fixer is actually pretty good compared to that but video's are not what they used to be.
