I posted a few thoughts on this in the Arts & Entertainment Forum, but I thought it might make a good thread here. If anything, we can just find out who the X-Files fans in the house are.
My thoughts are this: Pearl Jam and The X-Files have both created a sort of dark, moody feeling for their fans. I don't see that many similarities in theme, though both critique the government (particularly in the 90s) in their own ways. Still, Pearl Jam is more introspective and The X-Files are more paranoid. Can we discuss more similarities? Sorry, now I'm rambling. I love both Pearl Jam and The X-Files!

actually i like s/t as much as no code and yield. like everything more than backspacer though.
unemployable, army reserve, parachutes, come back, probably do more for me than almost anything on those two albums on a consistent basis. i've even grown to like big wave a bit over the years.
