I'm 99% sure this has been posted before because it's so cool but worth posting again:

Stone really is the boss.

Spoiler: show
My favorite part is when Stone tells Ed he will be surfing again, that this is an investment. Also, "we've already sold 70,000". "Our third record is going to be amazing, we don't even want to make the second and just go right to the third." How right he was!

I fucking love this interview. These guys only know each other for about a year at this point, and you can already see their personalities clashing and tension building. Also, this is about 3 seconds before they became multi gazillionaire rock stars with antisocial tendencies, it will be years until they start joking around in interviews again.

Glad you guys liked it. I was pretty amazed by it all. I mean, they had only sold 70,000 copies of Ten thus far. Stone is serious business. If anyone has ever doubted that he is the one to thank for the band making it this far...

I'll have to watch these later but I already knew this was the truth, especially in the early days.

They are both baked, but Stone clearly handles his high better!

LMAO!
To this day, he does that shit every once in a while. Less often nowadays but still. Seriously dude, you're not the only one with a "cool" taste in music
And don't you think Stone just wants to punch him right in the face around when they were talking about dreamweaver?

Yes Ed, I'm sure The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and the Ramones have long been crying out for mainstream recognition...

Matt, I feel like this is what our dynamic would be like if the two of us were in a band.
