hi!

at the very beginning of this DVD you see the band backstage walking toward the stage.
now, Mike McCready is carrying a Rickenbacker guitar, while Matt Cameron has a "Thor" t-shirt on.

Matt wore a Thor tee at Pistoia (and encores Bologna) but Mike didn't play the Rickenbacker for the opening song in Pistoia (Interstellar Overdrive). Encores Bologna opened with Black (1st) and Bushleaguer (2nd), and none of them features the Rickenbacker.

just curious, does anyone know which show this footage is taken from?

Does it look like he actually walked onstage with it?

Maybe he was just using it backstage to warm-up.

i love knowing what guitars they use on what songs, and i cant remember ever seeing Mike use a Rickenbacker, so i would wonder what song it was for.

but also as someone above mentioned, im used to seeing them get handed a guitar as they walk on stage, so maybe he just had it back stage and got the guitar he was gonna be using after walking out.

what year does it seem like the DVD is from

does anyone remember the original title of the DVD that they had to reprint everything due to a grammar/spelling error?

It wasn't a spelling error, it just didn't make sense. It was something like the Italian translation to "Image of the Wood Log".

"Image of the Wood Log" is a way better title than "Immagine in Cornice" (which is embarrassingly terrible).
