IT'S NOT REAL.
Why, Ruddo? This has had the distinct whiff of something official the whole time.
Whether it's a Vs or Vitalogy (or both) super-deluxe reissue, or whether it's a live thing, I'm pretty certain this is something until proved otherwise.
I just really hope they don't only put the live stuff on vinyl again, like Drop in the Park from the Ten boxset. That really should've been on CD instead of the original Ten mix (which seemed a bit redundant) - without the annoying fade-in/outs and with the covers intact.

Yep, here's the quote from the store owner from the Pit:
Quote:
"Yes, its official through Universal. I'm waiting for the full sales notes. I was asked to call my order as they are manufacturing to order and so need a confirm quantity. I'm sure it will be also available from the Pearl Jam site too so I've not ordered 1000's on this one. Cheers, Tim"

I guess I'll believe it when I see it. As far as the store owner's post, couldn't he just have said that on a PJ site to create more buzz about it, even if it's fake?

I think this place was selling the EV Better Days vinyl single, they seem to have a relationship with 10C - I think it's more likely than not that this is going to be some kind of official release.
Hopefully we get a tracklisting soon, I'm pretty curious but also keeping any lofty expectations in check.

Meh. I believe nothing about this. Give me more evidence.

Even with all the Maiden gags in this thread, it's worth noting that What Records is basically the OFFICIAL Iron Maiden online retailer, besides Maiden's own online store. Maiden have done some kind of deal with What Records.
The point of this being that this store doesn't usually sell unoffiical bollox. I think.

But Randall, this website is, like, British. Once upon a time, there was another British (at least, I think it was British) website that had this one bootleg Pearl Jam item. I mean, it's all a bit suss, y'know?
In any case, I'm sure 10C would be first to let us know if this was legitimate.

Are you really going to make fun of people for being skeptical about Pearl Jam releasing something really cool?
It's all in good fun, chaps.
I thought Ruddock's initial scepticism was a little humourous, as it seemed entirely based on this appearing on a British website - no offense intended. It just made me giggle, slightly. Inside.

I'd be skeptical no matter what website it was from, but I'm not making a claim either way. Remember, Into The Wild is being released on vinyl again and Ten Club still hasn't said a word about that.

Yeah, exactly.
I think the description of the bonus stuff and the confirmation from the owner of the (reputable) website are, at least, good indications that this is probably something worth watching out for.
Release-date wise, this probably makes a bunch of sense too. They're clearly not going to have a new album out this year, they can promote it with the 20th anniversary and Bridge School appearance and it's out right before Christmas.

This doth make sense. I have not pre-ordered this yet, although I did the ITW vinyl and Better Days 7". I don't know what I'm gonna do with 2 ITW vinyls (the old one and the new one)-more shit to gather dust, I guess.

We found out about the 10 reissue from an Australian website a couple of months before it was released even though the descriptions were wrong. The ITW vinyl was also 1st seen on some obscure online stores. The fact that it's going to be released on Universal worldwide means it's definitely not a reissue. It must be live from the last tour.

This is a point. Unless they've managed to buy back their old masters from Sony, which is unlikely.
