From Billboard-
Ron Wood's got his own album to do -- again.
After inducting Bobby Womack into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday night in Cleveland, Wood said that he's recorded about a dozen songs for a solo album called "More Good News." During an after-party at the House of Blues, producer Bob Rock confirmed that he worked on an as-yet-untitled track with Wood which features a guest appearance by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.
Womack, meanwhile, predicted that Wood's album -- his first studio outing since 2001's "Not For Beginners" -- "is gonna be great" and acknowledged he's "trying to get on it."

Ronnie Wood rounds up Vedder, Flea, & Slash for new solo album
Before The Rolling Stones possibly embark on their final world tour, the band’s current/maybe former guitarist, Ronnie Wood, will unveil a new solo album.
I Feel Like Playing arrives September 27th, and it features a slew of high-profile guest contributors, including Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, Red Hot Chili Pepper bassist Flea, and solo extraordinaire Slash. But wait, there’s more! Also appearing on the 12-track effort are legendary singer/songwriter Kris Kristofferson, ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons, Wood’s Faces bandmate Ian McLagan, and soul legend Bobby Womack. It’s nice to have friends.
You can find the album’s tracklist below. Then head to ronniewood.com, where you can stream the track “Thing About You”.

Incidentally, here’s some trivia: We’ve learned that at one point, the Pearl Jam song Speed Of Sound was intended to appear on this album, a gift to Ronnie that the band decided to take back for their album Backspacer, due at least in part to Vedder’s inability to transcribe its music.

Yeah that's pretty funny. He forgot to go pick up the chords from Brendan Obrien's house.
