They do, but I want to keep this simple. I am just wondering if there is a general consensus among people that Just Breathe and Johnny Guitar (or whatever) are clearly the best songs on Backspacer, and so simpler is better for that.

Good: Johnny Guitar, Just Breathe, Got Some, Force of Nature (really growing on me)
Average: Unthought Known, Amonst the Waves, The Fixer
Below Average: Speed of Sound, Gonna see my Friend
Bad: Supersonic
I would be willing to put Amongst the Waves in the good/great category if it lived up to its potential. It's just an average song in it's current state.

I think most of the songs are good, but not great and I'm not sure any have long term staying power other than Force of Nature or The End. The only songs I don't like are Gonna See My Friend, Amongst The Waves, and Speed of Sound.

Chud, have a friend count to 3 for each song and if you can't pick a category by 3, he or she will kick you in the nuts. I bet you could force the songs into categories under that system.
