Analog only studios are making a comeback. A few have opened in the Boston area over the last few years.

Ed still writes most of the best songs, so I hope he writes some on his own while the rest write the sucky songs.

Ed needs to become the tyrannical dictator again. instead of putting the fixin' on crappy Matt and Mike songs.

I only record on laser disc. All I want from this new album is more songs about waves.

I'm assuming s/t. Riot Act was referred to by Matt as the "anti-protools" record but that could just refer to post production and not recording so it still might have been recorded digitally.

S-VHS is actually pretty damned good for audio recordings.

If an analog album means more production like Riot Act count me in. It's my favorite sounding record by the band...

i don't think it's the best sounding PJ album. it sounds pretty good but it could sound better had they put as much love as they did in setting up the mikes and amps, the cords and the faders in the performance (of course, especially Ed for this one). i think that the performance tends to make albums and songs sound better - in pure audio terms.

That's like your opinion man. Binaural's sound is pretty damn good too.

I think he's going to do some work with Francis Cobain.
