I was sitting around flipping the channels on the television, not really watching anything too close, and thinking about the upcoming shows and the setlists. I stumbled on some show, inside edition, or something like it. They said a very kind (and rich) father booked Stephen Tyler and Joe Perry to play his sons bar mitzvah for 1,000,000. That cost was good for five songs. So I was thinking, If you could book PJ at your bar mitzvah what five songs would you ask them to play? No restrictions...

My Mini Set List
release
last exit
state of love and trust
angel (my money, my bar mitzvah- I want a unique moment)
black

they should play all the jewish songs that are normally played at a bar mitzvah.

i want to hear some unique covers. and i am sure ed would love to belt out some hebrew .

i would undoubtedly go the traditional route.

maybe the rest of the band can read aloud passages from the torah?

I don't think PJ would go over too well at a bar mitzvah. I'm thinking back to mine

I'm a cafeteria Catholic at the moment, but if I were to convert, I'd go with:

Long Road
Man of the Hour (naturally 8) )
The Kids are Alright
Better Man / Save it for Later
Rockin' in the Free World

My five would be (just to shake stuff up)
Don't Believe in Christmas
Tremor Christ
Satan's Bed
Gods' Dice
State of Love and Trust (doesn't quite fit with the theme of the rest, but I couldn't pass up an opportunity to hear it)

Religious beliefs don't matter. You can never leave.

Today's Pearl Jam would definitely do this if the price was right.
