So I held out for the vinly before I listened to this thing. I figured, it make me go out and get the LP. I've passed on earlier records, once I had the CD (Still kicking myself Lost Dogs). Anyway, the more time I spend with it, the more I grow to like the soundtrack. I even warmed up to the NAIS demo. Still, that Alice in Chains shit from Ten sucks and Crowe's notes are wretched. I can't help but hear his wiener voice telling how a passable version of "RVM" is "transcendent". Its a good collection and I hope more of the Pacific Rim shows from 95-98 somehow see official release.
Anyone else think that audience photo from the booklet should have been the album's cover?
That is an awesome version because of its slowness. I don't own many bootlegs from that era - did they usually play it that slow - is the double speed version only post-Jack?

That was, officially, the last thing I ever downloaded from megaupload. R.I.P.

first time hearing that Leash demo! That has to be a Pre-Vs. recording, right? The voice sounds very 1991 to me.

They started playing it in 1992, so I'd guess it's from that year some time.
I think it's been suspected it might've been demoed at the session they also recorded State of Love and Trust, Breath, Dirty Frank and the Go b-side version of Alone.

Yes, that seems very likely. They played the song since late 91. They entered the studio january/feb to record these tracks:
Alone (released on 'Go' single) Breath (released on 'Singles' soundtrack) Dirty Frank (released on 'Evenflow' single) Even Flow (rerecorded) (released on 'Evenflow' video) Leash (released on 'Vs') State Of Love and Trust (released on 'Singles' soundtrack)
It also call this the great EP that never was.....
hmm.. What would your tracklist be?
01-Evenflow 02-Breath 03-State of Love and Trust 04-Leash 05-Alone 06-Dirty Frank
