I've long felt Save You was one of the most underrated really hard, driving rock songs of the band's catalog, I've been on a kick lately of listening to it over and over again.
Actually I came across a youtube video of when they played it live on Letterman, never had seen this before, and it seemed like about half of the time Ed replaced the fucks with "cuff you if.. etc" but then I swear the other half he just went ahead and sang "fuck", but it came out so rushed in the song and with the level of the instruments it certainly wasn't overt anyway

I like that No Code has had the most participation so far (44 voters). Good job team! Surprisingly, Backspacer has the 2nd highest participation count.

i don't know about it being top 5 material - definitely one of their best weird song.
you mean best of the 2 or 3? I can get behind that.

a lot of it is dependent on how long we left the threads up for.

riot act and S/T should be close, but thus far it defintiely looks like there is the least consensus on Backspacer (I'm considering consenus to be a song in the 40-80% good/great range. Anything above 80 or below 40 I think we can pretty safely say that the board either thinks is good or weak)

What can we consider the "weird" Pearl Jam songs?
Help Help? Push Me/Pull Me? They don't really have many.

I'd throw in the 4nVitalogy songs, The spoken word songs (I'm Open / Bushleager), Whale Song, Hitchhiker (maybe), Sweet Lew, Dirty Frank (maybe), Hummus, Arc, and maybe a few others (that's all I can think of right now).

I realized looking at how I ranked the songs that I would find this a much better album if you just lopped off a good deal of the mediocre tracks and added a few of the out takes.
Can't Keep Save You Cropduster I Am Mine You Are Green Disease 1/2 Full Arc All or None
Thats a pretty good run of songs. Not great but there are too many mediocre songs that take away from the whole album for me.
