This might not have legs as a discussion, but I was thinking the other day that I remember where I bought most of my Pearl Jam albums. The when is easy, b/c I've always bought them (with the exception of Ten) on the day of release. Anyone else have this memory?
Ten - ? Vs. - Rolling Acres Mall (Akron, OH) Vitalogy - City Center Mall (Columbus, OH) No Code - Quonset Hut (Akron, OH) Yield - World Records (Columbus, OH) Binaural - ? (Columbus, OH) Riot Act - ? (Chapel Hill, NC) Lost Dogs - Best Buy (Durham, NC) Pearl Jam - Ten Club Backspacer - Ten Club

That was the only midnight release I went to. I didn't get shit.
Quonset Hut had t-shirts left from the midnight sale on No Code when I went in the next day. Wish I hadn't lost that shirt.

Ten, Vs, No Code - Bought together at a mall by my mom for my birthday when shopping for school clothes a few days after No Code's release.
Vitalogy - Bought about a month after that...not sure where.
Yield - Hit up a midnight sale with some buddies.
Live On Two Legs - Bought at the mall a few days after it's release. Also bought Whitey Ford Sings The Blues by Everlast that day if I remember correctly.
Binaural - Though I was grounded for getting cited for drinking at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert (and thus unable to drive to get the album; my mom was picking me up from school), I was able to quickly run into Blockbuster Video and score the album on release day while my mom picked up a prescription in the CVS next door. She was never the wiser.
Riot Act - Now in college (again with no car cause freshman weren't allowed to have one), I walked 30 minutes in a sleet-storm to a Walmart to pick it up on release day.
Lost Dogs - Bought on release day but I have no idea where.
Avocado - Bought on the day before it's release because a local record store had it.
Backspacer - Downloaded it a week before it's release. Bought it on release day at Target.
