... and how many of you are there?
1. Have you complained about the bitrate of digital recordings? 2. Can you tell the difference between Ten and Remastered Ten? 3. Have you reordered the tracks on an album because Pearl Jam's track order wasn't as good as yours? 4. Do you use digital representations of music to compare tracks, songs, or albums? 5. Can you listen to a live track and identify the year it was played 6. Can you tell the difference between Dave A. and Matt C.'s drumming on Porch? 7. Do you prefer vinyl to CD or digital? 8. Can you tell the difference between an audience recording and a soundboard recording? 9. Will you pay extra for FLAC? 10. Can you tell the difference between a song written by Stone and a song written by Mike?

Bolded the yes answers. to expand on a few. #7 If they would master most cd's right I wouldn't care, but then again many vinyls sound like shit these days too since they use the same crap hot masters. #9 If I would pay what they charge for digital downloads I would. #10 sometimes I can
I can definitely tell a low and high bit rate digital track apart.
Not an audiophile but I do like well produced and mastered music. Makes it hard to listen to so much modern rock music since its so loud and compressed and generally sounds like shit. I like vinyl more for the package but also the sound if its done right. Them Crooked Vultures is a prime example of a well produced vinyl that sounds night and day better than the CD.

Do you use digital representations of music to compare tracks, songs, or albums? - I'm not sure what is meant by digital representation. 5. Can you tell the difference between Dave A. and Matt C.'s drumming on Porch? - YES (by knowing the jam / year moreso than knowing the drummer) 7. Do you prefer vinyl to CD or digital? - NO but, I heavily prefer CD to digital 8. Can you tell the difference between an audience recording and a soundboard recording? - YES 9. Will you pay extra for FLAC? - YES (and I'd pay even more for CDs)

9/10, but I don't really think I'm an audiophile per se. I just listen to a LOT of bootlegs on a nice audio setup where it's easy to separate various qualities of the music, such as: what tour the show is from, who is drumming, bit rates, etc.
