I think the current system works fine. Take it on a case by case basis. There was an RNDM thread that focused on the band in terms of what it means for Pearl Jam, and it was perfect for this forum. Then another thread was made in Other Bands to talk about RNDM on their own merit. This seems like proposing a solution to a problem that barely exists, if it exists at all.
