I don't see why the side-projects can't go in PJ Chat, it's not like there's gonna be a hundred new threads about them every day. I guess it's a "no" for me.

In light of this revelation, I'm changing my vote to "no"...
You would support a side project subforum, but the inclusion of soundgarden brings it down?

The more I think about it, the more I don't like this idea. Maybe just keep side projects that are Pearl Jam members playing in other bands in the OB forum (Brad, Mad Season, Tres Mountains, etc) and keep band member's solo work in the Pearl Jam forum (Stone/Jeff/Ed's solo albums)

I've had more successful debates with my 2 year old.

Usually there is like a 3-5 month period every 4 years or so where most of the band has some side project going(we are in one of those right now,) but the forum would be useless the other 3 1/2 years of it.

And that's the logic that got rid of the Tour forum. So I guess in the name of consistency it should be left as is.
I still like my idea of thread organization though. Side project bands go on OB, solo work stays in PJC.

That's fine, I agree with that. I was pretty much in favor of axing the Tour forum.

Well, the Tour Forum should make a return whenever the band tours.
... but I've lost interest in a Side Project subforum. So ... meh.

This thread is why I'll never run for public office.

You're like Obama. Always looking for consensus instead of just growing some balls and making a move. Now prove us all wrong and order a strategic task force to take out px. I here she's hiding in a villa deep inside a forum that costs $40 to join.
