10c is having a black friday sale. shipping charges on items is out-of-whack. these are two responses by santos l. halper in regards to messages from pj.com members who posted or pm'd about it:

sometimes the things this guy says to his customers is just mind blowing. i've been treated well in my direct dealings with 10c, so it's even more strange to me that it happens at all. but it is a reoccurring deal that more people are remembering.

i do love the defenders' reasonings, though.

Morning. That "thank you" hardly seems like an official thank you from the band. It comes across as "come see us at the next festival oh and here are some pictures of us with jay z". Just seems like Kat was told to say something and promote the next shows. Just cute and funny. Not a big deal by any means.

I'm not sure if it was a glitch or part of the black Friday thing bit I got the PJ Vs Ames poster book for $20 + $5 shipping and that's international. I'd call that a steal. Given that it was $40 or $45 beforehand.

I haven't been happy with the reaction to my public bitching, but when dealt with through info@tenclub.net, I've rarely been disappointed with the result.

I know you guys won't care but international shipping costs from 10c have been way way over the odds. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or they've tried to redress the balance but a drop in shipping rates for international members is long overdue.
