Sorry if I offended any midgets...

They like to be called "little people." It's less hostile.

I can't really be bothered with political correctness when it comes to The Tim or The Rob...

Maybe they should call him "The Tims" because he fat enough for two guys.

Did it ever occur to you that "Rob" is his surname, and his parents named him "The." You guys are mocking the poor guy's given name. There's heritage and ancestry behind it.

Fuckin' dicks. :shake:

Anybody listening now? Is the version of the 10-28-2003 Santa Barbara Bowl show SBD or just really good AUD? In any event it sounds better than any version I've ever heard.

One thing that bothers me about this station is that they will play a bunch of live songs but won't play songs that "go together" back to back. Case in point they played Untitled from 8/25/00 and as it faded out I anticipated MFC...only to be surprised with Fuckin' Up. A good song, yes, but just not what I expected. I guess that's just the downside of shuffling a playlist.

Anyone listen to yesterday's show? They were going to talk about the "fest".

From the pit:

Quote:
Gates open at 11, show starts at noon.
3 stages total, 2 side stages that will alternate.
No re-entry

Will they be playing full sets both nights?

Yes.Not going to be limited to a "festival set"

Any idea who will MC the show?
MC Hammer? Haha

The parking, is there any disabled parking?

I think by law there has to be. We'll include it in the FAQ.

The expo center, do you get a view from the stage?

You can see the stage from the expo deck, but it's at the back of the lawn. Some people like to have indoor bathrooms and shorter lines at the bar.

When will we know which night will be the night in the lawn or the night with a seat?

We'll go through that process as quick as we can, before the public ticket sale.

When will you announce more guests?
I think we're pretty much done. Always possibility for surprises, but we pretty much have the set line up now.

Alpine would be only US date, then it was removed, will there be more?
There is nothing planned for the rest of this year. I can't say for certain, they could always add a show, but there is no US tour planned.

Just an FYI the corn field across the street let you camp out and park there.

Won't comment on that but have heard that the neighbors are all very nice.

Will there be an live stream of the show?
We're working on that. It's something that we having quite sorted out yet.

Is there a seperate pool of tix for travel packs?
For the ones that we're selling to 10C, no. Your seniority will be reflected in your tickets if you buy a travel package or not.

It says on the net that there is a shuttle for local places near by, but it sounds like the shuttle will drop off everyday.
No one is staying on venue grounds for the weekend, there is no camping, everybody leaves after the show. We elected to not do camping there, it's not the best situation. The state law says you have to have certain amount of square footage per campsite, so parking would be taken up by 20 camp sites so it wouldn't make sense.

Communication on AM radio to say if things change for the festival, if there is a change how will you update all of us?
We can't really update everybody, there will be signage in the building, we feel like we will be on schedule.

Explain the rationale as choosing Alpine Valley.
Lots of factors. Centrally located. Could have done something more urban, but Alpine has a certain amount of charm, people are nice, lots of history.

If the band does a warmup show in the Chicago area do you see releasing tickets to 10C or will it be last minute?

There is a lot of things that go into making something like that happen. We always think fan club first, so if something were to happen like that yes fan club.

Put a percentage on this, is this going to be the long awaited Temple of the Dog reunion?
Hasn't that already happened a few times? Just show up and see what happens.

Will the main stage have a pit?
Everything will be seated. We like to have everything comfortable for everybody.

Ticket allocation, is there a set amount that 10C gets?
We don't have all the tickets for the pavillion, we have a lot. There is lots of stipulations, we get as many as we can get as always.

How many members are in the 10C?
We won't talk about that publicly.

Question regarding presale, is there anything different in place from last time?
We tried to make some improvements from the last sale, we'll figure out a way to get through it. Hopefully made some big improvements.

How do you think the server will hold up on Monday?
It's always hard, and they're is always something. Ticketmaster has a $1 billion dollar budget for their servers and they go down and they crash. We try our hardest, I understand people being frustrated. It's not bigger server or more bandwidth, it's much more than that, and we try.

If any old drummers will play with the band during the festival?
I wouldn't be surprised, we nothing nothing more than you do.

Curfew at Alpine?

We have all that stuff worked out, the band is not going to have to cut anything short. The band is famous for paying for overtime if need be. Nobody is going to get mad if it keeps going.

Do you invision any newer poster artists?
That stuff is all being considered but it's a little early in the game, we're talking to all the artists we've worked with.

Why one night in pavilion one in lawn?
Idea that we came up with, we basically want as many 10C to come as they can, 99% want to go both nights, we felt like this was a good way to get as many tickets, one night up in the pavilion one night right at the front of the lawn, front of the lawn is a killer spot.

Will the 10C get tickets to the movie at a film festival?
If that happens we'll figure that out.

Will PJ20 be filmed in HD.
So many people will be filming with their cameras, we're working on it.

How will the 10C fence work?
We'll know exactly how many people have tickets for the lawn and we'll take the area and we'll rope that area off that will be staffed that fence stays up through the entire support act then it gets taken down when PJ starts.

The 10C park.
All these venues have "VIP" areas so we need to keep a certain amount of those things in place to please the venue, wanting to be fair to 10Clubbers it was my wish that we created some sort of area that is special to 10C that nobody else could come into and not pay extra, so we found a little place, it's on the other side of the place, you can't see the stage, we'll fence it off and you'll need your wristband, it's not big enough to fit everybody in, we just want to provide a cool place for everybody to hang out, somewhat clean bathrooms, reshfreshments, provide some softdrinks for people, just a cool place to hang out, take a breathe between bands.

We need a 10C credit card.
The Rolling Stones did it, but it does seem very anti-PJ.

Will beer be cheap?
Beer will not be cheap, don't know how much, but it's not cheap.

Can we bring food and drink inside?

No alcohol, maybe a cooler with food in it, we'll get it on the site.

Cluthe/Lee should play.
If they don't get a spot, they should play in the parking lot.

If you can't score a ticket is there anything outside to see the show?

There is some fields, there is some screens but not out there. We're trying to see about a webcast, long ways away.

Is there any chance of the movie being played there during the weekend?

Always a chance, but it's not the focus, not gonna say no but no plan for it now.

Interested in travel packages, what are you getting for the money?
You get hotel room, a shuttle service to and from, a staff at hotel that will take care of you, they are there to take care of you, a commemorative piece of merch, a nice buffet at the venue, and then back to your hotel at the end of the night. For people that have the extra money it's really nice.

If people see 10C tickets being sold on Craigslist, what to do about it?
I'm ok with people selling them, but it's a hassle cause we ain't giving them til day of, just sell them for face value. We pay attention to those guys.

Blankets on the lawn?
We have had blanket issues in the past.People burn them, we'll post that information.

People bringing their kids.
Alpine allows kids under 3 if they can sit on there lap.

The time to pick up tickets, get both wristbands?
Wristbands, one per whole weekend, 2 tickets. The person you give to is hopefully going both days.

South America?
It's in the western hemisphere, and PJ played there in 2005.

Wish everybody luck on Monday and we'll leave next week's show open. Can't wait for Monday to be over.

Pretty honest answers. Can't really complain. I found this funny about the 10C Section:

"somewhat clean bathrooms"

From the way I've heard him talk to callers about this issue preiously I reckon the condescending twat will likely just screen out all the calls so no one can say 'We Told You So".

eh, someone speculated that they'll have things on lockdown and i'd agree. he'll have to answer for the sins of the last couple days, but it won't be the bloodbath that some are hoping for.

If a producer actually takes a real call on that call in show, they should be fired. (or promoted depending)

This is akin to a football coach coming into a coaches show after his team just face planted their season.

bierman will suffer a fatal heart attack before tomorrow's AET airs, due to excessive nervous eating of large amounts of chili cheese fries.

I would've guessed he'd prepare a statement like, "run your own website for 20 years and then you can blah blah blah..."
