Ten: Oceans--it's the only song on there without some lingering sense of disappointment or betrayal
Vs: honestly they all fit pretty well
Vitalogy: Betterman is a good choice here
No Code: Mankind--another obvious one. Although I don't think songs like Lukin or Habit add very much to the record
Yield: the utterly pointless and useless red dot? Maybe pilate. The songs on yield all fit pretty well
Binaural: Thin air is a no brainer
Riot Act: get right--musically it fits but thematically it's a bit of detour into nothing
S/T: Big Wave. I had to really stretch to fit that one into S/T
Backspacer: Another record where all the songs fit nicely together.

"Go" represents the state of Mike's digestive system during recording

My thread was way more successful that this one and yet it gets the lock?

For shame.

I'd typed "Go" and when I hit submit it was locked. I just had an irrational need to post that.

Parachutes is definitely the right choice for Avocado, since it's a decent song.

Oceans, is the best song on Ten.
...Fuck me if I say something you don't wanna hear from me. But it's true.

Hmmm...
Ten - Dirty Frank (it was a bonus track on the Japanese? version I think)
Vs - Not sure about this one. They all fit in some way.
Vitalogy - Betterman
No Code - Habit
Yield - Wishlist
Binaural - This is the only PJ album I don't have, can't quite answer this one.
Riot Act - Bu$hleaguer
ST - Parachutes
Backspacer - Got Some (really, I just don't think it fits.)
I don't dislike all these songs, I just think they don't really fit in.

Surely it fits better than Supersonic.

Not to call anyone out, but how exactly does Blood not fit Vs? I mean, it's basically what Vs is about... Eddie's problems with the world around him and how people see him and use him.

this thread would be more interesting if people explained why they picked what they picked

its not about the worst song on the album. its about the song that, if it was the only one on the album you have heard, would give you the most inaccurate taste of what the rest of the album sounds like.

Betterman is the easiest example, since it sounds nothing like the rest of the album.
